As part of bridge construction operations, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans multiple overnight detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project starting Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 for overhead signage operations and roadway striping, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
I-95 southbound closed:
I-95 southbound will close Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour to Airport Road to U.S. 17 and take I-295 westbound to reconnect to I-95 southbound.
I-95 northbound ramp to I-295 westbound closed:
The exit ramp from I-95 northbound to I-295 westbound will close Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour east on I-295 to U.S. 17 and take the ramp to I-295 westbound on-ramp.
I-295 westbound closed:
I-295 westbound will close Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour to Pulaski Road to New Berlin Road and Main Street to reconnect to I-295 westbound.
I-295 westbound ramp to I-95 northbound closed:
The exit ramp from I-295 westbound to I-95 northbound will close Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour to U.S. 17 and Airport Road to reconnect to I-95 northbound.
I-295 eastbound ramp to I-95 northbound to close:
The exit ramp from I-295 eastbound to I-95 northbound will close Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour via I-295 eastbound, U.S. 17 and Airport Road to reconnect to I-95 northbound.
This work is part of a new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
