The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists to expect increased traffic for the upcoming Thanksgiving travel period.
Lane and/or road closures on Delaware’s major roadways will be suspended at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22 through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 26. Lane closures may be required in the event of transportation incidents.
Travelers looking for a break can visit the I-95 Delaware Welcome Center in Newark or the Smyrna Rest Area Exit 119 on SR 1.
