The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) reminds motorists to expect extra traffic in Delaware this holiday season. Planned lane closures on I-95, Route 1, US 13, and US 113 will be suspended at Noon on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 and will be lifted at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019. Traffic accidents and other unpredictable types of transportation incidents may cause lane closures and/or delays.
In addition, at Noon on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 until 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020, on-going construction-related lane closures will also be suspended on major roadways.
