The billboard ads are true… “Prime Rib for Two, only $21.95”. And they are very good (although at least one notch below the Prime Rib in Baltimore and Washington). Each prime rib is about 8 ounces, and cooked they way you like them (just specify). A potato is included. The salad bar is extra (we haven’t tried it).
A nice touch: we can stop there, order, eat and leave within about 30-40 minutes. Surprisingly, the decor is pretty nice, especially the windows at holiday season. They are reminiscent of the old department store windows at holidays.
Not open on Sundays. Opens at 5 PM.
Yes the Prime Rib for 2 special is Great, we have stopped there many times on the way back North. The price was increased to $24.95 for 2 and the prime rib is 10 oz. The salad bar was included many moons ago, but they now charge, a sign of the times. ENJOY !!!!
This is one of our favorite restaurants when we travel up to New England.
Me and my wife go there for our anniversary every year. We have a few beverages and the prime rib for two, i get the salad (extra). Our bill is usually around 35.00 dollars plus tip. So for less than 50 dollars you can have a Great meal, drinks (beer) for us, and the awesome desert they include for anniversaries and birthdays too, I believe. Nice atmosphere, worth every penny!
