About a mile or so east of the New Jersey Turnpike, exit 5 is a nice little restaurant called the Marblehead Chowder House.
The restaurant is located on Burlington-Mount Holly Road (NJ541) on your left. A friend living in the area recommended this place if we ever got off that exit, so we decided to give it a try.
Long story short… we loved it! The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff was more than friendly.
I had the lobster and my husband had the prime rib. Both were excellent. We both had their homemade key Lime pie for desert… also excellent.
Now that we’ve tried Marblehead Chowder House, we’ll probably make this exit a regular stop to gas up and grab a bite to eat. Their lunch menu looked great!
