Considered by many I-95 travelers as a “must-visit” vacation destination, The New Hampshire liquor and wine outlets in Hampton will be completely transformed into mammoth new service areas.
Patterned after the highly successful Welcome Centers on I-93 in Hooksett, these new I-95 locations will include food courts, diners, upgraded restrooms, ATMs, gas stations and other retail offerings in addition to the two 20,000-plus-square-foot liquor stores.
The New Hampshire Liquor Commission is also working at entering into a public-private partnership to develop 64-acres of land on the north side and 24-acres on the south side for potential new development as well as conservation and wetlands preservation.
“This unique and highly-valuable real estate along Interstate 95 encompassing our Hampton NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the state and a developer operator,” said NH Liquor Commission Chairman Joseph Mollica. “We look forward to identifying a partner that can bring forward a competitive, creative and responsible, New Hampshire-centric proposal that will deliver two new, state-of-the-art NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations and accompanying facilities.”

An estimated that 32.8 million motorists travel the I-95 corridor to and from vacation destinations each year.
