Come enjoy unlimited sampling of great chowder, soup and bisque from more than 30 award winning chefs and restaurants from all over New England. This three-time Yankee Magazine Top Event of the Season winner is not to be missed. The New England Chowdafest presented by Stop & Shop, is a true people’s choice competition where YOU are the judge! You’ll be given a ballot, pencil and spoon when you arrive and off you’ll go to rate everything you try on a scale from 7 to 10.5 (sometimes giving a perfect 10 isn’t enough). The highest rating in each category will be named “best in New England”.
There are four separate categories as you can’t compare a New England clam chowder to a lobster bisque to a buffalo chicken noodle soup. You’ll find gluten free soups, non-seafood chowders, even a vegatarian category but Chowdafest is more than decadent chowder, soup and bisque – we’re a complete cluinary exmperience.
Sample freshly baked artisan breads, premium pasta sauces and salad in the Italian section we call “Ciao”dafest.” Enjoy chips, gourmet salsas and guacamole in our popular ChowdaMex section. Try incredible juices and sparkling beverages plus coffee, tea and premium hot chocolate. We even have a new “Must be the Milk” dairy section that includes a flavored milk bar, cheese and more. Kids are king at Chowdafest from being able to vote to free chef hats to decorate.
Some come early and come hungry as you won’t leave that way. Your participation will help us fund over a HALF MILLION meals in the on going fight against hunger. Rain or shine.
