    There are dozens of hotels, Inns and Bed & Breakfasts located in and around Freeport. If you get off I-95 and head north on US Route 1 through Freeport center, you’ll find most of them. You won’t find many of the major lodging chains here… the vast majority are independent establishments.

    What would Maine be without camping? There’s plenty of camping areas and RV parks here too! From I-95 exit 20 you’ll find Blueberry Pond, Cedar Haven, Durham, and Florida Lake Campgrounds. The Desert of Maine Campground, Flying Point and Recompounce Shore Campgrounds (exit 19) are also nearby.

    Getting Around Freeport
