Bailey, in the heart of southern Nash County, located aprrox. 10 miles west of I-95 along US 264, this small country town home to approx. 560 people is growing slowly. Bailey is also home to football great Julius Peppers. Bailey has a elementary school & a high school. Bailey is located 13 miles west of Wilson, 25 miles from Rocky Mount, and 40 miles from Raleigh.

Places to Go in Bailey
The Country Doctor Museum, located at 6629 Vance St in Bailey, this is the only nation’s museum dedicated to the country doctors. There is a erb garden. The museum is open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10AM – 4PM. Closed Sundays. Woodrow Park in Bailey, just off US 264, has a playground for children, 3-6 baseball fields, & a walking track. The park is located on Elm Street.
Getting Around Bailey
Coming up from the North, take I-95 South to exit 121/US 264. Turn right onto 264 west and follow signs to Bailey. Coming from the south, take I-95 NORTH to exit 119/TO US 264 West Take Raleigh ramp.

The Corner Grill is out of business now. The same location is occupied by Ming Garden Chinese restaurant. A new restaurant The Bailey Cafe is also available.
