If you are looking for an overnight stop right off I-95 (exit 53), New Green Acres Camground in Walterboro South Carolina is perfect. All the sites here (there are 106) are long pull throughs, “The longest and widest pull-thrus east of the Mississippi” they claim… and totally level.
The New Green Acres is the perfect campground after a long day’s travel – a complete no-brainer. If you are late on the road, there is an after-hours check-in kiosk. They even have a fenced in pet area so your dogs can stretch their legs.
