Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is a beautiful public garden located in Henrico County, Virginia. The garden was founded in 1984, and since then, it has become one of the most popular attractions in the Richmond metropolitan area.

About Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

The garden spans over 50 acres and features numerous themed gardens, including a Rose Garden, a Children’s Garden, a Healing Garden, a Four Seasons Garden, a Cherry Tree Walk, and many others. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and showcase a wide variety of plants, trees, and flowers from around the world.

In addition to the gardens, the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden also features a Conservatory that houses tropical plants and butterflies, an Education and Library Complex that offers classes and workshops, and a Visitors Center that has a gift shop and a restaurant.

The garden is open year-round, and there are different events and activities that take place throughout the year, including seasonal displays, guided tours, concerts, and educational programs.

Directions:

From I-95 north or south: I-95 to exit 81 (US Route 1), then US Route 1 north to Hilliard Road (VA 161), then left of Hilliard Road to Lakeside Avenue, then right onto Lakeside Avenue. Entrance to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is on your left.
