Motorists using northbound Interstate 95 will encounter travel restrictions at night this week for construction near Philadelphia International Airport, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 25, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, one lane will close on northbound I-95 between the Bartram Avenue/Route 291 and Philadelphia International Airport interchanges for removal of construction barrier. A second northbound lane may close between 12:01 AM and 5:00 AM.
The work near the Philadelphia International Airport is part of PennDOT’s initiative to update Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) equipment on I-95 and other regional highways.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
