The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces overnight full closure of SR 896 between I-95 and Chestnut Hill Road Monday September 9 through Wednesday September 11 (Thursday September 12 if needed) for steel beam installation. The southbound I-95 to SR896, and southbound SR 896 to northbound I-95 ramps will also be closed during this period. The northbound SR 896 to northbound I-95 ramp will remain open. There will be overnight lane closures on northbound SR 896 for concrete pavement construction. There will be overnight lane closures on SR 72 for bridge work. Additionally, there will be overnight lane closures on southbound I-95 for paving.
