The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project beginning Sunday, August 11 for roadway and bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closures scheduled Sunday, August 11 through Monday, August 12 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:
- I-95 North ramp to I-295 East closed: Drivers will take Busch Drive to northbound U.S. 17 to access I-295 East.
Closures scheduled Sunday, August 11 through Thursday, August 15 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning: - I-295 West closed from Main Street (U.S. 17) to Biscayne Boulevard: Drivers will take the I-295 West ramp to I-95 North and exit at Airport Road to rejoin I-295 West.
- I-295 West ramp to I-95 South closed: Drivers will take southbound U.S. 17 to Busch Drive to access I-95 South.
- I-295 East ramp to I-95 North closed: Drivers will take I-295 East to U.S. 17 and use I-295 West to access I-95 North.
- I-95 closed between Max Leggett Parkway and Busch Drive: Drivers on I-95 North will take I-295 East to U.S. 17 to rejoin I-95 North. Drivers on I-95 South will take I-295 East to U.S. 17 and use I-295 West to rejoin I-95 South.
Closures scheduled Wednesday, August 14 through Thursday, August 15 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:
- I-95 North ramp to I-295 West closed: Drivers on I-95 North will take Airport Road to Duval Road to access I-295 West.
This work is part of a new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
