Kittery is a great place to do some outlet shopping. I live in New Hampshire, about an hour away and make it a point to visit Kittery 3 or 4 times a year. Just about every outlet store is located here. The traffic can be a little hectic… this mile long stretch of road have a dozen or more individual shopping centers and hundreds of stores. Try the Weathervane restaurant for excellent seafood!
