Dined at a great restaurant on your way down I-95 lately? Maybe you've grabbed a bite at a nice little diner. We would love to hear about it! Just use this form. This forum is dedicated to all those road warriors who have found or are looking for that perfect stop along America's East Coast Main Street... I-95!
This is a nice place to take the family! Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar is a national chain with a great atmosphere, a nice selection and reasonable prices. There seem to be more and more Applebee’s being built and we’ve noted that the menu varies from region to region but some of the more popular choices are common to all. They have also got a great selection for the kids.
I’m a sub man. Always was, always will be. On the road (I.m a salesman) I need good food fast and cheap. Blimpie’s is great food, cheap. I just whip out my Blimpie’s card, order a 12″ Blimpie’s Best and I’m good to go. It’s healthy food too… but that’s not why I like it. It’s just good
We’ve always enjoyed breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. They give you good southern food and good friendly service. They also serve lunch and dinner. We recommend this restaurant for a good hearty breakfast at reasonable prices. The rest rooms are very clean. They have a nice gift shop, and have some very charming country items.
If you’re looking for a change from the fast-food, eat and run stop, try Denny’s. There’s all kinds of them from Virginia to Florida and they are just off the exits. For roughly the same price as a fast-food joint, you get to sit down and take a break and be waited on. One nice thing about Denny’s is no matter which one you visit, the menus and prices are all the same. You can get a $2 breakfast (two eggs, hash browns and toast), $3 lunch (BLTs, burger baskets), even a $6.99 Prime Rib (complete with side dish!). It’s not the Ritz but not too shabby for the price.
