For shellfish lovers this place is a must! It is the Shell House in Savannah, Georgia. It is right off of I-95 exit 16, when you get off the interstate go west for a couple of hundred feet and make a right. It is in a small area with one of the many motels in the area. It opens a 4 P. M. and time my trips so I can have my dinner there. The portions are tremendous and the food is great. Every table has an opening in the center to toss your garbage into. The service is very good and the staff is very friendly. If you plan on spending the night in the area there are at least seven or eight motels there plus a nice outlet shopping center.

When traveling on the Interstates I look for good food cooked fast. I don’t usually stop at truck stops but this one time I decided to try the Travel Centers of America Country Pride. They have the best pancakes and coffee I have ever had !! If you ever want some good food stop at Country Pride.

The Mill House Restaurant is attached to the new Holiday Inn located just of I-95 at Exit 38 in Brunswick, Georgia. They specialize in fresh seafood and certified Black Angus beef, and their steaks are the best Brunswick has to offer! You can also order your meals from your room. We had a great meal there, with their specialty Streak with Gorganzola. Yum!

Houlihan’s is located just off I-95, Exit 94… look for the Savannah Festival Outlet Mall. Houlihan’s has no smoking anywhere in the restaurant, even at the bar! They have a huge menu and are open for Lunch and Dinner. The restaurant has a fair wine menu, a great beer menu, and a good list of cocktails. The food is great here! Try the ribs. Make it a point to try Houlihan’s the next time you’re traveling I-95!

Loves Seafood Restaurant is one of the nicest seafood restaurants that I have visited. They have excellent food and the service is great. The staff was wonderful and the choices on the menu seemed to be unlimited. I recommend this restaurant as a great stop for I-95 travelers!
