I-95, Exit 72 - Dunn, North Carolina
The billboard ads are true. You get two prime rib dinners for $21.96, and they are very good (although at least one notch below the Prime Rib in Baltimore and Washington) Each prime rib is about 12 ounces, and cooked they way you like them (just specify). A potato is included. Salad bar is extra (we haven’t tried it). A nice touch: we can stop there, order, eat and leave within about 30-40 minutes. Surprisingly, the decor is pretty nice, especially the windows at holiday season. They are reminiscent of the old department store windows at holidays. Not open on Sundays. Opens at 5 PM.

I-95 Exit 24 (King’s Highway) - Bridgeport, Connecticut
D’Angelos makes the best subs and salads. We always make it a point of stopping on our way up to visit family in Massachusetts. The staff is always courteous and accommodating (even when we’ve come in 10 minutes before closing!). I have never had a bad sandwich/sub there ever!

I just want to invite all travelers to visit Grady’s Cafe in St. George, SC. Grady’s is a small family owned and operated Cafe. Grady, and son Josh, do all of the cooking just like they are cooking at home. Open for breakfast and lunch daily You can choose a Flounder Sandwich, BLT, Bubba Burger,Chicken tenders,or enjoy an all you can eat buffet with lots of home cooked vegetables. (Leave room for that home made peach cobbler or bananna pudding for desert) Saturday morning you can eat all you want from the breakfast buffet. Friday and Saturday evenings are “steak nights” —rib-eye steak, flounder, shrimp, oysters, scallops, salmon, ribs, etc. You can also make a trip to the salad and potato bar. Many locals eat at Grady’s and are very friendly. You might just make a new friend on your journey. If you want more information email gradyscafe@hotmail.com or call Grady @ 843-563-7951
